Its been a while since I made the pixel lineart of the Swordquest treasures, I was going to print it and color it with pencils, but never got the chance to.Check the lineart for the back story behind the treasures, its quite interesting really.
Here is the original lineart I did, but I did minor changes to the lines, I may update it. [link]

To anyone who doesn't know this, the Talisman has been destroyed. It was melted down for scrap except for the sword part.

Why would this guy destroy a one of a kind antique, but keep the Swordquest shaped diamond?

I love some good pixel art, and this is good! It would be a real treat to win those, and in a perfect world, the contest would at least have continued on by now, when the video game industry came back from the crash. maybe, one day, this would become an ancient legend, and the quest for the sword would carry on thousands of years from now...

This is just what I needed. I'm designing and writing a game about a guy who loves a game, and he wants sequels. He finds there where 5 unreleased missing sequels. He goes to find them, not before texting all his friends. The second game is when he finds out about a contest that had to do with these games and he wants in. But he researches a little more into the games and discovers that it ended 30 years ago. He goes on to defeat the president of Atari for not releasing them and gains the Atari Blade, Sword of Ultimate Sorcery. For every character there is a story, and for every story is there own weapon. (These are the names and weapons)
Pasio: Uses zapper but after final boss Atari Blade.
Spence: Uses keyblade but after final boss Talisman as a keychain.
HookTail: Uses iPod reality beam katana app but after final boss the Philosopher Stone which opens up to show the touch screen.
J. Zimma: Uses Rocket Launcher but after final boss uses Chalice. The glasses hole is where the rockets come out.
Pehz "Sacara": Uses fists and ki energy but after final boss uses crown for unlimited power.
Now I have a source for the design! All the other pics of the prizes where taken in like 1932 and are poor but this is a pixel art which would be perfect to sprite off of. (not copy lol) Thank you SO MUCH!

Imagine having a swordquest movie series. It would be epic have a remake of the game series in each console
