Another preview for my next novel. I'm really looking froward to writing this part.Elijah as a Seminarian getting Latin lessons from Father JΓ³zef...and totally failing at it.
(He's about twenty years old in this scene)
"Mea Culpa" is basically the Latin equivalent for "My bad" literally meaning "Through my fault."

*gigglefits* Oh my heaven! I love this little comic! I can totally relate with Elijah on the matter as well; the teacher I had for my first two years of Latin class would put everyone to sleep with his voice. Heehee, and I am LOVING his shocked-awake face there in the second to last scene. It's perfect!! (He's already starting to grow on me, just looking at him. He's adorable beyond reason.)

Seriously though, I took it thinking I could learn and improve my own writing by studying her novels, but I find them dry and boring. But that's just me.Β

Oh, well I certainly won't deny that her novels tend to be rather dry and boring. Tearing them apart and finding any of the cleverer aspects of them however, is what I enjoy.
But of course! I'm always up for giving honest feedback! And I'm sure I'm going to like it! ^^~
