Man, this is some pretty amazing patterns and so kick ass!!

Got all excited looking at this image and others in your gallery that I downloaded a free version of Apophysis 2.0. I tried opening it and played around but man, its quite confusing and so many options.....is there an easier way to make something look cool without going through all these options?

Excellent! That's exactly how I got into Apophysis! Fear not, it's not as daunting as it seems. I've only been at it a couple months with Apophysis. I recommend you go to the Apophysis Group page on DA here ---> [link] and check out some of the tutorials linked from the journal there. I'd love for you to really give Apo a shot, and then join the Apophysis Group. We also have a chat room here at DA called *gasp* Apophysis ...heh.

I really want to create stuff that looks like your work. You seem to show great control over this pretty daunting and random program, even able to show symmetry. How can I get a quickly jumpstart in this and get the cheat techniques from an expert like yourself? can you make a tutorial on one of your peices?

Are you kidding me?! That's the mother of all vaginas! It's even better than those flower paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe.

Well done.

I hope you don't take offense to this in any way, because none is meant by it...but this piece reminds me of labia.

As a nursing student, I think any abstract piece that is representative of human anatomy (whether intended or not) is interesting.

Altogether lovely work!

Great job on the DD, man! You deserve it.

I was wondering when someone was going to say that, ...no it wasn't intentionally done, but yeah...I saw it too...LOL! Perhaps that explains it's current popularity....orrr....mayyyybe it's the DD. It's hard to say

In allseriousness, I'm still reeling in shock from the DD, and this all has really made my day!

I only have one word for this: BRILLIANT

The colours work way better than with Harmony I and also the composition gives this image more motion. One thing that keeps me from faving though, are the jagged edges best visible at the centre ripples of your piece. My suggestion to make this piece a killer: lower the gamma a little (some parts look a bit grainy), increase the filter radius to 1 (perhaps 1.25 maximum) and re-render (highest quality you can get). I promise your piece will look much better (yes, that is possible ) and I'll come back to fave it .

Once again, your advice is golden, my friend. I wasn't thrilled with the jaggy aliased parts, but wasn't sure what to do about it. I took your advice and it worked beautifully!

Thanks again, my amigo!
