Love this series of images and this one in particular.
Absorbing Man is one of the bad asses in the Marvel Universe but only seems to be as much of a threat as the person writing him seems to make him out to be.
Still, with all that power at his hand you'd think he'd absorb some fashion sense and get some new trousers...

I remember when Wolverine cut of 'sorbin mans arm in the first Secret Wars (hilarious).
Absorbing man leaps over a boulder and exclaims,"C'mere, runt!" Wolverine, without breaking stride, responds,"Outta my way!" cuts of the wrecking ball arm and doesn't even bother to look back...

Yeah, he hasn't received much love from Marvel writers over the years. If he took a mind to it, he'd be one of the most dangerous guys around. I guess the lovable loser character is just as effective though.

Thanks. You probably won't see to many companion pieces. I limit my commissions to one per person, so most folks probably won't do that. The Hulk/Thing was a special commission for a good friend.
