Description
I had this idea of a post apocalyptic Captain America and needed to paint him. I even thought about doing a series of these with different super heroes in the wasteland theme. Two of my favorite subjects mixed. I was trying some desaturation things on this one and playing with warm and cool (my favorite color contrast). This was a fun one.Oils on Masonite

This is a cool concept. Almost as if superheroes survived and lived in the Fallout universe, he'd be one of those random characters you happen to come across.Β

Very cool idea. Love how you made everything so torn. But it would be cool if Caps shield still remained the only thing shiny and indestructible. Hope you do more!

Yeah, I thought about that. In my mind, this is a "What If?" scenario. Instead of this being the heroes surviving a fallout or something, they became the heroes afterward, so he wouldn't have an adamantium shield, but would've made it out of scrap that was lying around. Β Yeah, I thought about this a lot heh. Thanks!

Ah, I see, interesting. Yeah, a fallout would bread a lot of organic potential for superhero inducing situations My pleasureΒ
