Description
The centerpiece for a series of Asgardian themed pieces I'm doing for a mate in Oz. It'll take a while, but hopefully, he'll have a nice display once it's all finished. I think I still have three to go.All of these pieces are inspired by Walt Simonson's versions of the characters...except Thor of course.
And no..it doesn't make sense to have the Thor frog and Thor in the same scene, but he asked for it, so blame him! hehe.
Good ol' Microns and some white paint.

Simonson based his look for Sif on Sigourney Weaver who used be a neighbour of his.
Would've been nice to channel some of that into Sif.
But still a great piece.

Thanks. I always try to take the "less is more" approach to females. Every line makes a difference when doing the ladies, so I go very minimal and hope that I don't screw up. My ladies can be a bit flat as a result, but it's better safe than sorry

Yeah he wasn't around too long. I can't remember the story behind it, but it's now a classic Simonson story. I need to read those books.

Thanks. I took inks off of my commission options. They take forever and can be tedious for me since I do it all with pens. I'll have new pen and ink pieces on occasion though.

Thank you much. I got tired of doing inked pieces. Too slow a process with the pens and whatnot. I only do these for one person because he'd already had a few done in a 7 part series.
