Description Been a little while so I thought a small dump was in order. More commissions. Hope you all digs.

This is Fairchild, but the client wanted the version from a Gen 13 story where they were in the jungle.

Beautifully done. Really drawn in by the attention to detail and the character's physicality.

the whole thing us great- but oddly the thing that sticks with me is the insanely perfect level of detail in that strap and buckle around her leg...crap, you're good, man.

Awesome stuff! The texture work you've done on the plants is aces. Kickass boots too!

Hey chris! Love your work! It's like you keep getting better and better!

Would you mind if I asked where you buy your prismas and copics? Do u know of a good website?
They are just so expensive here in oz. (12 bucks a pop )
Thanks

Thanks!

I buy from Dick Blick online. They charge me about $2 each for prismas. Haven't used the Copics enough to buy refills just yet, but they'll probably run me about $7 each..something like that. Copics are the best bang for your buck, but I still prefer the tips on the prismas.

Dickblick.com is truly an artist`s friend. And ya, that is the best way to buy art supplies. Just make sure that you buy as much as you can in one order. It is cheaper that way.

Great work! I have a question about the copic markers... I don't have a bucket o money to get any and I want to try em out, is there another medium comparable to them so that I might get a feel for how they work? From the looks and the few tutorials I have seen they seem to be a lot more forgiving than watercolor... Oh well thanks for any input if you have time.

Thanks, um..copics are pretty similar to Prismacolors. The inks are very close, but the tips are a bit different. They're more forgiving than watercolor, but of course, they bleed the same. My marker pieces are pretty sloppy before I go back in and use the paint, pencil, pens and whatever else I can think of to get the piece cleaned up. I'd pick up a couple Prismas and try them out. You can buy them individually at most art stores, so it's worth the money.
