Original rough and final penciled line art for a full page illo in the Mutants & Masterminds 2nd edition core rulebook. Planning a scene with so many characters in action and making sure it's not just a mess can be quite a chore.Related content

Wow, what a great response
These types of shots are always a bit of a challenge. I tend to treat them as one on ones. I focus on each pair that are fighting and figure out what each will be doing and just try to work it all in until it sorta fits. What I like about these scenes is that there's not alot of hard and fast rules for doing them. You can just have fun with them and try to come up with something that's fun for the readers to look at.
