Description
This was my second painted commission. Like every painting I do right now, it was a series of firsts and experiments, redos and accidents both happy and not so much. Trying to do a suit like this with so many clean lines was the toughest part. I think the colors really work though. Simple, but they work. I like simple. Especially with colors as thats all I really understand at this point. My favorite thing right now is using warm and cool colors. It's a really simple way to get contrast and make things pop. Hopefully, I'll keep learning new tricks. Gotta start somewhere.Oils on panel

Thor was missing, and Loki, who was ruler at that point, offered the then powerless Storm to become the new Thundergoddess.
This is also the storyarc where Danielle Moonstar became a Valkyrie.

Awesome! I'd love to see a super close up picture of part of this to see your brush strokes/how you place your paint. Obviously you wouldn't post a huge version of the whole image as somebody could snatch it and sell prints etc but a closeup of a spot would be cool.

Thanks. Yeah, I can probably do that. The scan probably won't show the strokes real well, but I'll take a look a the hi res version and see if there's anything that'll work.
