With every ending comes a new beginning. In my case, it was the unceremonious end of my tablet due to its stripped wires, and the beginning of me looking into Wacom's repair service or shopping for a more reliable tablet. Either way, 2022 is guaranteed to be a fresh start!
UPDATE: It was thankfully just a cheap cord replacement. It's an after-Christmas miracle!
