Description
"Tango" was inspired by Strictly Come Dancing or ("Dancing With the Stars" in America) even though the dancers aren't taking part this year, it was taken from their stage show "Midnight Tango" with Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace. The romance of the dance is intense and the reference has great atmosphere.
Drawn on A3 Extra smooth Bristol Board, using Mechanical pencils 0.5 HB, B2 & B4. Graphite pencils H2 - B8, Blending sticks, BluTak & Tissues. It took around 49hrs and I have to say I've really enjoyed drawing it. It's probably been the most enjoyable drawing to date.

The Blutak is used instead of a putty rubber, I found it does a much better job. It's great for delicate work, and is less oily. It's one of the best tools I have, it lifts off graphite more evenly. I use it on all my work.
