The movie was pushed to 2020 i just hope they dont cancel the movie or even worst cancel inma and make a movie similar to "jack giant slayer" that wold be terrible to us.
They could only turn inma into a old girl like rapunzel

Yeah, changing the date is one thing, but i agree,it would be even worse if they cancel Inma's character completely. And we already have Jack the giant slayer,we dint want another Jack and the Beanstalk movie like it. And if they did cancel her character,it better be a good reason, especially since she was based off someone they met in Spaon. So it's not like they made her character just cause they can.

I doubt they would remove Inma from the movie since she was there when the movie was introduced back in 2015. Not only that she is one of the main characters in the story and, since she is a girl, is more marketable than Jack probably is. I think the most likely reason they delayed it is to speed up production on the sequels to Frozen and Wreck it Ralph. The assets for them are already in place and I suspect that the higher ups see it as a more assured way to add to the bottom line by working on a known property rather than taking a risk right now with something new. Which may be true, unless they do something incredibly stupid in the process of making them. Personally, I suspect that Disney is hurting more financially than they are letting on. They let go of 100 personalities at ESPN due to declining viewership recently, Their earning report this quarter was a bit of a disappointment, people are upset with them over Last Man Standing and the coverage of the 2016 elections in the US among other things, and personally I've been seeing more ads offering specials to travel to the Disney parks this summer than I have seen in the past. The latter of which is something I've never seen for this time of year. Call it a hunch but I don't think thing are quite kosher at the House of Mouse.

True, there is that(but you know how some companies sometimes change the movie alot from it's original plans, which can include certain characters)And not only more marketable than Jack, but also more likeable and more popular. Plus Jack has been done before, while someone like Imna, has never been done before on the big screen. And audiences like to see something different. And if you can think of any characters like Inma that have been on the big screen, let me know(cause there isnt any that come to mind) And i get that making sequels iseasier and generally safer than making original movies. Don't get me wrong,i want to see Wreck it Ralph 2 and Frozen 2. But i do like to see new property and new faces(i know Jack and the Beanstalk has been done before, but the way it's presented, along with it's characters are new)And sorry if i'm ranting on.

In the weekend, I show you my new drawings and even the story of how Jack goes to the Giant land with the Beanstalk, where he first met Inma in the grain field and how Jack runs away from Inma.
I've been thinking for May or mid-May, my first admiration test from Inma, Jack, Ellaine Jack's girlsfriend, Liam, Goose the Goose, Giant Storm, and Genjoe the Giant Killer.
And even the first trailer of Gigantic in sketches and colors. The trailer of the grain field with Inma and Giantland.

That's is very sad. I wish see for 28 November 2018 in not in 2020. What happen?
That was the same with Moana, D23 say that this movie was in reality in 2018, but then came this film in 2016.
And I believe that is a misunderstanding, I hope only 2018 or 2019, but not for 2020. I can not wait any longer, long. I am in love with Inma and I wish I could show my drawing in Anaheim D23, but I am a Luxemburger and do not know if it is possible to work in Disney! I just hope that my dream is fulfilled.

Not certain why they moved it two years back. And yeah,i also hope it's just a misunderstanding. And Inma herself seems like a very likeable character. And i do hope that it goes well for you as far as working for a company that makes animated movies.

Don't take this as truth but I have heard that supposedly there is some sort of issue with the story and as such delaying it to give the writers time to fix it. That would be the most logical answer, however, I have also heard rumors that Gigantic is supposedly to be the first feature that will use the "Meander" animation process which could be a better explanation given the length of the delay considering how complex it is and giving the animation team the time to master it for such a production. "Meander" is also the process that was used to make the "Paperman" and "Feast" shorts. So between those two, the answer has to lie in there somewhere. Pity really, I was thinking of going to the D23 expo this year to hear/see what they had to say about Gigantic. Guess I'll wait till 2019 then.

What kind of issues did the story and characters?there was nothing wrong with the story and characters that i can see. And while Meander animation might be nice,i wouldnt mind if it was CGI or hand drawn(guess what i'm saying is that i don't mind whatever animation they decide to go with,as long as the movie itself cones out)And hopefully,we will get more concept art of Gigantic(even though it wont be out few another 3 years)And speaking of which, which concept art pic in 2015 was your favorite?

I don't remember exactly where I read that there was a story issue or the possibility of Meander being used, but I just remember the poster just saying there was a issue with the story and that was it. As for the concept art shown, it would be a tie between the shot of Inma finding Jack in the cornfield and Inma looking at Jack trapped in a bottle.

So just the story?and not the characters themselves?cause i hope they don't cancel out Inma's character(who seems like a very likeable character,as well as being the most popular in the Gigantic movie as well)And my favorite is the one where Inma is looking for Jack in the cornfield.

I'm starting to draw the same,
1.Im looking upwards from Inma and Jack runs away from her.
2. Inma falls down with Jack into the abyss
3. Inma, Jack, Liam and Goose hide the goose behind the barrels and note Genjoe's nasty plan
4. Genjoe beats Jack and he wants to know where the giant is.
5. Inma is tied up and Genjoe holds a burning fox to Inma.
6: Inma rips the shackles and saves Jack from Genjo's friends ....
I always try new ideas ...

And being in her hand also gives a sense of scale and intimidating. But then again, just her presence alone is intimidating.

Understandable, but i think even just putting Jack in front of/and or putting him next to her feet alone(without showing the full body image of Inma)really gives a sense of scale and intimidation. Which you have done in one of your other sketches.

This may sound odd, but for some reason I keep thinking of the song for "King Bubsgonzola Supreme" when I look at this. Or at least some kind of variation of it.

Probally because of the angle. And she is 60 feet tall, and we are seeing it from Jack's point of view.

You definently gave a true sense of scale for Inma,as well as pure intimidation too. I feel puny watching this pic.
