I saw a biography about Joan of Arc a few weeks ago featuring Albert Lynch's Jeanne d'Arcas painting as the cover which inspired me to make this crossover. For those of you who haven't seen the latest steven universe episodes then stop reading. I noticed that the way Joan's hair is depicted in that painting reminded me a lot of Connie's new haircut so it seemed like a perfect mix. That would be kind of a cool headcanon, that at one point Joan of Arc teamed up with the Crystal Gems to take down baddies. They've been on earth since prehistory and have explored the globe, so there's no reason it couldn't have happened.
