Lipsync keyframe practice turns into unfinished inbetween hell and lots of painWill I ever finish it??
No one knows.
the front part is very messy and i need to fix the timing, and the back part needs some editing as well erggg
but heck was this fun. I stayed up til' 4 last night to do this.

you can use krita (it's free!) or if you're up for the old fashion style paint tool SAI and movie maker, that works too.
but yea for quick stuff flash is real cool

well uh my movie maker crashed for almost a year
and I can't animate anymore even if I tried to re-install

For this I used flash, but krita works pretty alright too.

I have to ask, how long have you been animating for? You seem to really understand how "things" move and how faces distort with expressions. (Something I have a lot of trouble with, so this was a lot of fun to watch!)
And out of curiosity, how many frames per second was this?

I've been animating on and off for about...5 years? It wasn't much.
Usually I would animate a little something, stop at the sketch at like 5 seconds, then give up ^^""
I never actually 'finished' any of the things I've started, but in recent times I've had more chances to practice since I'm in an art course that requires animation skills.
I ah, also watch a lot of MAP parts on youtube so maybe that helps haha x'D I notice I pick up some things I watched
This is 24 fps~
The last I saw this had 200> frames, but if you cut away the hang time it'll probably be lesser.

I have the same problem honestly. You can have motivation, and you can have time, but you can't have both at once. At the very least I try to finish sketches, but if I'm not very inspired when I start, I might not even get all the keyframes done ; __ ;"
MAPs are one of the things that inspired me to start! I try to draw from real life as well, but not nearly as much as I should.
Ha, I've always done 12 fps (I have absolutely no patience lol).

I rarely ever finish sketches (unless it's for homework); honestly most of what I do end up looking like storyboards x'D
that feel when you would like to join maps but can never finish animating anything :'D
Flash is set by default to 24 fps, and I've always been a bit more used to that heh.
