Nope, just do it
get an Old Lens (Minolta 50mm are great and cheap) and an Adapter from Minolta MC Mount to Nex.
You can play with the Bokeh and make wonderful portraits.

Wait... Minolta mount is not the same as the sony's mount? Or maybe Nex is not the same to the alpha's mounts? I always thougt that all lenses fitting minolta would fit my Sony alpha, so am I wrong??

yep, there are different mounts:

Minolta SR (MC/MD Lenses)dont fit alpha or nex without an adapter.
Minolta A (same mount as Alpha) ( Minolta AF lenses) fit alpha without and nex with adapter.
Nex has its own E-Mount
Alpha has its own Alpha-Mount.
There is an adapter which keeps the automatic functions of Alpha lenses on e-mount.
