Description
Inspired by the advent of new and revised Emoticons here recently, I decided "why not make my own?" - after al, I have the know-how, I have one other animated GIF in my gallery so far and I made my own avatar too...just finding motivation is hard because it literally takes HOURS just to make a few seconds of animationI might as well enter this Rainbow Contest too, even though I had something else in mind, luckily I can enter twice if need be, wish me luck, I personally thought this was an original and humerous idea for an emoticon, sorry it's a bit bigger than standard emoticons, it was the only way I could get each face to appear clear (the individual emotes by the way ARE correct size) - I wasn't intending this one being one that could actually be used anyway
So lets look at the colour's meanings ay? colour often gives a certain mood in art, I chose the most common representation for each, keep in mind this is in my own words, how I interpret them;
Did you know? - That red light has the longest wavelength followed by orange, right down to violet with the shortest (but with most frequency) - it's that which always causes red to appear first in the rainbow with violet last
Thanks a lot also to `arrioch and ^Synfull for featuring it as a Daily Deviation!
Copyrighted animation, please do not upload this to other accounts or websites, however using it to brighten your journals is fine (credit would be nice though)

On deviantart you need to type or copy-paste the code for certain emoticons, there's a whole list of them with the emoticon on the left and what needs to be typed on the right, dA has hundreds of e'm
These ones can't be used on chat though, at least I'm not sure they can

Lol, you would really pick a boyfriend based on their artistic skills alone? What if they were horrible everywhere else

I draw them in Photoshop using the pencil tool and paint-bucket mostly (anti-aliasing is a no-no on pixel art) with eyes and arms etc on seperate layers, so I can move them independantly and save a GIF image for each frame which I then load into another animation program and make it move there's ways of doing it in Photoshop alone but I think it's only certain version and I don't know how

Nah, it's not - I figured that way everyone can enjoy it...plus rainbows have been around since light first scattered through water - the flag is relativly new compared to that

Yep, all at once...though people will think your'e crazy if you try to express laughter, anger and sorrow all at once...it would be a new face pulled and a new noise invented as a result

I did the individual frames in Photoshop and strung e'm all together in Animation Shop 2 (a ridiculously old program that practically no-one uses anymore, but I do for its simplicity )
It's possible to do it in Photoshop alone I think, but I don't know how

Ahh yes, rain is good - the noise it makes helps me go to sleep, and Australia has a pretty dry reputation so it's relieving when it rains more than usual and the parks and gardens finally go from brown to green again
