Normally I don't upload anything within minutes of finishing it, but I'm just eager to get something up here during a dull moment
So it's been over a year since the last time I drew Cloud and I thought I'd just remind myself and everyone else that I still like him, and for the first time I wanted to go for a "sexy" mood rather than a "serious" one, since Cloud can't be miserable all the time, especially when he looks like that, and I know some fans love this sort of stuff too so here's a li'l pressie for them especially, hope ya like it 
Detailing is what took the longest here, a few hours at least on the cottony like texture on his jacket alone. The rest was relatively quicker than usual for my character illustrations, hopefully because I'm getting better, but maybe just because there's no much content here. Still, at least its better than my other Cloud drawings
EDIT: 25,2,2012 - This has been edited several times before but this is the most recent. Improved his abs, changed hair at the front, added a leather collar around his neck

Hahah yeah. The first time I saw it I was jetlagged and I couldn't really concentrate on what was going on because I kept starting at David Bowie thinking "Wow... he's so cool!!!"

I absolutly love how his vest thing looks, the detailing of it is just amazing it almost looks real~
But there's something about the face and hair that kind of bugs me.
For the face I'm thinking it mainly has something to do with his lips. γthey're kind of uneven, like the placement of them on the face its fine, but the center line seems kind of oddγ The shinyness on them at the one side seems to make it blend in with his skin too much as well.
As for the hair, I'd say its a bit clumped together, I'd give his hair a more loose hair effect γespecially on the bangs, they look to much like they are shapes coming off his head, its like they don't appear to be a part of him, they kind of take away from the realism effect thats going on in the rest of the image if that makes senseγ or something.
And the back of his hair should problbly be more in an upright triangular shape. γright now it seems to be more in a rectangular shape, and it just looks kind of awkwardγ

Don't get me starte don lips - I really hate drawing those, that alone can be the determining factor with whether I should bother drawing any character or not
For my own characters I usually have more stray strand sof hair around to look a bit more natural, but Cloud's "clumps" are very refined so I guess I just made them appear as they do, I still don't think the rest is realistic enough for it to matter too much, no-one I've drawn so far came out looking "real"

Hmm well after seeing your hair reference, maybe his hair could look better if it had more soft look to it or something :3 γlike not as much as the reference, cuz' that'd be too muchγ
But yes his har does look nice there XD
One day if you practice enough I'm sure you'll reach a more realism level

I really do love most of your work, but I couldn't help but laugh when I saw this. I know it's not supposed to be funny, but the title and the fact that I really do no like Cloud had me stifling my laughter before I got yelled at, lol! Still! Great art, you did a really great job!

Hmm, the pinch in the crook of his elbows are a little bit irksome, and his chin isn't quite as pointy as I remember it, but it's all still pretty cool, nonetheless. You did great, here! Again, the lighting and composition is excellent. 
Now I REALLY wish I had a tablet.

Hey I created plenty of good stuff by mouse, all my old fan-art really are only flawed due to my lack of anatomy knowledge with wouldn't have been there even with a tablet, but in regards to technical skill one can do good stuff by mouse, it requires more work and perhaps using other tools that conventional digital painters won't need
Elbows I have never really taken otice of actually, and my referenc epicture for the body in this pose was pretty low-res too making some smaller things hard to see (why I had to edit it once already) Cloud has a pointy chin but I prefer giving him a bit mor eof a realistic one, the pointy chin dosn't look quite right on anything that's not anime-style

This is totally amazing work! The light, the details are fantastic (especially the details on the jacket are wow)... and the muscles are just stunning, I can seriously FEEL them swell

Cloud look really strong here!!! I like the texture and lighting of the art!! His outfit look amazing!! He look really sexy here too. One thing i notice is that the hand that is holding the zipper seem abit too small.

Hmm, I guess it's a little small, then again it's hard to tell since the fingers aren't outstretched and there's a lot of foreshortening on that forearm too

Glad you liked it, yeah muscles are still hard even for me too, there's bound to be some inaccuracies left there but hopefully none too noticable. And you can always count on me drawing cool hair, it looked good even on old attempts, seems I was one of the few who focused on hair before anything else
