Some of you might remember my old FlashLight girl Dusk Radiance (www.deviantart.com/chronically… , grossly outdated information). Here's my first swing at drawing her in years! I'm undecided on her freckles, and her mane style isn't quite right — but I'm still pretty happy with this!

Dusk is the only daughter of Flash Sentry and Twilight and the older half-sister of Morningstar Sparkle (www.deviantart.com/chronically… ). As Twilight's firstborn, she was initially slated to take over her throne as the Princess of Friendship — but things don't quite pan out that way in reality. Dusk has never been the studious type, and she doesn't think a pegasus is well-suited to ruling and defending Equestria. These thoughts (and other factors) lead to her place Morning next-in-line.

Dusk is also a hopeless, hopeless romantic. A bundle of bisexual panic. In this picture, she's thinking about a certain some pony that makes her swoon. I'll give more details in a later picture, but for now, all you need to know is that this pegasus has it bad.
