Ah, GOD! Finally, the two week picture is FINISHED!!!

This is a fan pic of She's a good friend of my friend, and we got to talking about a possible arttrade, er say about.... 3 months ago? Prolly longer. AND I've been lazy/procrastinating/working on other things and never got around to my part of the trade. Well, I finally drew it up in April, and it came out really good. Only about 2 weeks ago I actually finished the outline, and then I started to color it. I experimented with the Gradient tool as well as the Marquee tool. So you can tell that this one is WAY different than what I usually do when I color. In all honesty, I like this way better, (duh) and am prolly gonna use it from now on. Can't wait to see what I can do when I start up with Saki.

Also, I know that that's just a platform in the clouds, but I really couldn't think of anything else to use. I was working on this for SO long that I never really noticed that she wasn't really sitting on anything. "Crap," I thought. "That's not good." So I tried to use some different stools on the web, and even drew up one that was chrome. (God, Chrome is SO hard to color) but it just didn't really go with the scene. So I just made this tiny little platform, and....well....there we go. Yes, it's levitating, and so is she. It works.

Well, there you go, Val. Hope you like it, cuz my blood, sweat, and tears are in this one. Plus, I'm sorry I didn't give you the skates you usually wear, but I thought it would be interesting to show you tying your skates up before you go on your journeys. It didn't dong on me until I was already coloring it that you don't wear laces.
