Um...so, I was listening to Demon Days and decided to do something quick and Gorillaz-related. So, this is my hand holding the CD. Please excuse the font. I tried to stylize it for the longest time, but nothing really interesting came up.This is my 99th pic, so the next one HAS to be insanely awesome.

Myself? I just drew a ton all the time. I was the kid in class who drew a ton of sketches in his notebooks everyday. Plus my dad taught me a lot about art too.

I really like your still life pieces. Your flowers and fruits are rendered in a very professional, stylish way. The coloring on oranges even showed a very mature sense of shading and contrast. Keep those up!
Your portraits are improving steadily, just keep practicing. Though it depends on what style you're going for (cartoonish or realistic), be sure to practice nailing the proportions, especially of the eyes. Try to draw an oval first and then segment it into about 3 lines (tons of tutorials online about this) and then draw eyes, the nose, and mouth along them. It'll make a huge difference. Also, try out different facial angles, they're usually much easier than a front-facing view, since you don't have worry about perfect symmetry.
Otherwise, keep drawing, you'll be shocked how good you'll get at it with a little practice.

Thanx! thats VERY nice of u to be honest & give some tips & details, but to be honest, i usually try & attempt to make my portraits "realistic", but they eventually come out being more "cartoonish" so, i think im more of a cartoonist myself, but thank u for seeing & liking my artwork!! & im glad u liked it!

I only listned 2 gorillaz 1st joint back in 02, but man I love the way you drew this. It's smooth and excellent sly feel to the light areas and dark areas. Love it man. All is blessed. BIGZ.

This is insanely badass. I don't know what to say, you captured all of the band perfectly. Do you have a digipak copy of the album?! Seriously though, I'm amazed by every quality of this one.

haha, thanks, Shelby! I actually used the regular jewel case version of it with the tiny little characters. I just googled the digipack version with the HUGE character portraits, and man, that would have made this a LOT easier.
