Description
These two are kind of the "villain" characters of this verse, but they end up having similar ideals to the main characters.
In pegasus society, ponies rush to get cutie marks and try to guess which ones they'll get. They feel like the have control over them, but ultimately it's up to fate just like the other pony tribes. Many ponies are left unsatisfied when they don't get the cutie mark they want and even kicked out of their families

Opera has a plan to get rid of cutiemarks entirely, maybe just temporarily, to see what would happen. She's not the nicest pony, but she doesn't approve of the way cutiemarks are treated and wants better for society. She has a cutiemark, but she always keeps it hidden out of principle. At first, she's a villain, but the realize she has a point and side with her

Concierge was designed by fhroggy (with some additions from me)
Taking same details from the backstory fhroggy made, Concierge as a half pegasus half bat pony doesn't fit in with others, and as a result is very welcoming to ponies who are different and outcasted. She runs a hotel for those who want a vacation from life, and often chats with ponies who use he bar. Absolutely anyone is welcome, even criminals. Opera stays at her hotel since even just lacking a cutiemark in adulthood is very abnormal, and hiding hers makes her even more provocative
