Thanks - also for the fave!
3D is awesome if you can't draw. I can draw, sort of - but I can't make a good likeness in a portrait, or even make the same person look like the same person twice. Conveniently, the 3D market includes lots of pre-made human figures that can be customized. So once I've created a character, she (or he) looks consistently like the same person! Some 3D artists seem to create a new character for every image they post, but I like to have a smaller number of characters who develop over time - they are people above all.
The flip side of the convenience of 3D is that you need to know (or learn-by-doing) some of the theory of 3D. Plus, like everything on a computer, it's all "numbers" inside the computer, and in this case the better you understand what the numbers are doing, the better 3D work you can do.

well, i would try changing the color of the wall & the cabinet (or fridge) on the left hand side - its all too dull and flat.

I agree - the whole picture could use more saturation, and probably more brightness too. (I actually reduced Aisha's saturation in postwork, to "agree" with the rest of the picture. I should probably have increased the saturation everywhere else. I may still do that.)
The background, the table and the tea service are all pretty subdued anyway. Increasing their saturation (without making the people downright gaudy) doesn't change them much.

I'm not sure! - it's not mine except for Aisha and her slice of pizza. (Even the pizza box in the background was part of the original pic.)

Merci - also for the fave!
I made the shadow in postwork, since Poser shadows did not work on the table. (I rendered Aisha's whole body, then "layered" the table in Photoshop to cover her lower body. So there was no shadow until I made one.)

in DAZ, there are any shadow on background. so (I talk for general art) you are lucky to work with poser.
and bravo for this postwork: the shadows looks like really 'real'
and bravo for the pizza ^^
because,on my story.... I COULDN't show it!!! couldn't! my staging is on purpose
and we never see the pizza boy.
thus, watch my update(comic strip): you can see it (or here on DA 'pizza boy')
