That sounds odd. Well, she was more "complete" because by that time she knows who she is, and what she wants to do. She got to be in hero mode and do nothing but kick ass. Which is good -- no doubt her sequel movie will make things hard for her, so it's nice to see that her baseline state is "invincible guardian angel who can do almost anything."
