That's awesome! I'm gonna have to make an influence map of my own. You'd be surprised to see what I've been influenced by over all the years.

That's cool that you got ideas from "FFVIII," Disney Movies and "Batman Returns." I also like the fonts you chose for this.

No problem! I'll give you a clue: You'll see "Grand Theft Auto" and "Mega Man" on the map!

Mega Man rules! Never played GTA.

"GTA" has kinda gone downhill anyway IMO. I think "Saints Row 2" has made up for most of what "GTA" is lacking these days.

Only atvantage "GTAIV" hs over "SR2" IMO is the splatter and gore. You can run people down and see bloodstains all over your fender.

I loved The Maxx. If there ever was a more twisted and enjoyable series, that was it.

Sigh... it was the best thing ever. It was in my head constantly around 1996. I was OBSESSED.

Y'know, I can see some of those influences in your work. And I'll be honest, I liked a lot of Disney's work during their revival, even if I was too coolness-conscious to admit it at the time.

The comics have their ups and downs, but I think you might enjoy the "No Man's Land" Batman storyline (after a plague and earthquake rock Gotham in quick succession, the city is declared no longer a part of the United States; the city gets carved up by various gangs and there's a lot of good moments to go around), and the Birds of Prey series in general (Barbara Gordon decides that being paralyzed from the waist down by the Joker is no reason to stop fighting crime).

That's the one where Ivy is taken hostage by Clayface, right? Yeah, it does look like a cool series.

It is, indeed. And there's a crowning moment of awesome when Two-Face puts Jim Gordon on trial. You'll never guess who ends up as counsel for the defense.

When you phrase it like that, i can only assume it's Harvey Dent.

.....or the Joker.

Well, yes, it's Harvey. And it's awesome.
