Decided for some reason that I needed a cover image for 'Mercy'. It might have had something to do with ff.net's new cover image service.
Either way I finally got an excuse to learn how to draw Starscream's face properly. Well, close enough.
One thing that I absolutely strive for in my fic is ambiguity on what Starscream's true intentions are. Although this is something I originally tried to carry over into this picture, I like drawing my Starscream with a good devious face.

I wouldn't say you're the only one. Personally I've never seen Armada before, so I can't judge one way or the other. I've only ever heard good things about Armada Starscream though.

The Armada series is really good that show was my childhood Armada Starscream version is a lot better he doesn't have that chin sticking out like Animated and Prime Starscream but I still love Starscream no matter what

The hands are the right way, but the way I placed the thumbs makes it look really wonky. That's one area I've always struggled with.

I always check on my own hands whenever I'm drawing them. After a while of being careful it was eventually committed to memory.
