that's a very good model, and the render is just fine too. I like the depth blur, the nice materials you used.
good work

That's pretty impressive for such a short time period, though texturing probably didn't require all that much work. Still, one heck of a scene

Only two hours... that's good stuff, man. He's very comical in his appearance, especially his blink. His final shooting offscreen doesn't work though because he moves in a straight line. One of the first rules of animation is arcs; everything moves in a curve. He needs to rise and fall, his speed needs to slow then pick up. If the marble just knocked him off his platform onto his back, that'd be funny, natural and cute.

I wish you would have uploaded the video on deviantART too. It is cute indeed Wish there was some melodic music in the background with it, though.

The caracter is very cute and the video so funny He seems to fall just a little too late compared to when the marble hits him, but it's adorable.

Ahem, you know you can edit the description of your deviation and slip the link in the actual description - Would be a bit more conveniant.
It is one of the buttons below the image. :/
And yes, that 'thing' you've rendered certainly is 'cute'. (And also very dumb, slow looking). Resembling the 'idea' you get behind the emoticon.
I not having not veiwed many 3d, wouldn't know if this is standard - but your render has a brilliant photorealistic quality. I'm a bit amazed, considering the results of when I messed around with a 3d renderer.
Kudos to you for the brilliant render, and in a small time (As I gather).
Cya later, and have a good day.

I like the animation I just think that how he flies off at the end looks a bit awkward, otherwise its great
