Rorik is a very old felaryan squamataur and an ancestor of Wila's going back countless generations.

Of course, as people do not age much on felarya he still looks like he's in his late 30s despite being hundreds of years old.

Wila hadn't known of him most of her life until she moved into central felarya from up north in the green hell.

Rorik lives in close proximity to felarya's "Great Hive" the primary home of the large and monstrous tonorions, giant centipede like creatures with bladed forelimbs.

Despite the creatures reputation for being absolutely savage towards other creatures, they seem to make an exception for him and allow him passage around their lands without as much as a snarl towards him.

Rorik is very fatherly and attempts to give guidance to his descendant Wila, attempting to teach her a variety of more combat oriented skills . Oddly he can breathe fire as well which sets him apart from other squamataurs and has tried to teach Wila this skill on many occasions, though she both seems incapable of it and shows very little interest. The same goes for most his other fighting advice since Wila seems to like the cushy life she's made for herself and has no desire to go back to her more wild combative ways she once used in the green hell.
