I've had this in my head for a while, but wasn't really sure how to go about it. Hardest to do, I think, was to actually make the drawing flat on the paper, which I don't think I actually managed. Perspective makes my head hurt.Related content

Thing is, because the textures are so different, I am able to look at the 3D rendered parts on their own and when I do, it becomes really unsettling. As a whole, combined with the smile in the 2D drawing, it's not so bad, but just that great eye staring at me, it's offputting. Was that deliberate?

I can see why you'd fuss over perspective, but frankly, this is brilliant. I can't find any major flaws in the image that deter the concept. Excellent work, I hope to see more pieces like this from you.

Things like this tend to happen if someone can't make up his mind in time and decides to cancel a ongoing third impact half-way... poor twilight... and pony-kind reduced to LCL and all.
Hmm, Makes you think who could be the (poniefied) version of Shinji in the MLP universe.
But then again it could be worse considering the outcome of Eva 3.0/Quickening. ^_^!
