I didn't think this was good to post here before it was finished but I thought, oh what the heck...Tidus modelled in 3dsmax, ornatrix for the hair.
Edit: My pc suffered a horrible system crash a few months back and brought down my hard drive that had all my 3d files with it. So I haven't been able to continue working on this model as it's gone. Thanks for all the comments guys! Hope you come back when I finally put up a new piece!

Cool hair ( I wonder what theose Final Fantasy characters use in it lol ) But even the face is very accurate. All you gotta do is put him in some tropical-themed backround and people will start mistaking it for the official game-scenes

I'm so sorry you lost all your work.. I know how that feels when your hard drive crashes, and you loose irreplaceable work.
I don't know much about 3D Modeling, but this is very beautiful. The hair looks amazing, and you really got the facial features down.
At least you have this as a momento of your work. Again, I'm sorry about that. It breaks my heart every time I hear of it happening, especially seeing something like this as an example of work lost.

wow.. i hope i can model like this. can autodesk maya do this? cos i have a maya, and 3ds max (but my laptop can't install 3ds max). final fantasy did inspired to do something like this then i saw this one , a final fantasy character modeled in 3ds max! im so much inspired right now. great work!

I doesn't really matter which software you use. Both maya and max are good apps. You just have to learn it well and practice modelling a lot to get better at it and make good models. Go ahead! Put all that inspiration into something awesome.
