Why? Can't they just leave it as a fandom of the 90s and be done with it? What's the point of collecting them if they gonna just ruin it for us old people?

Yeah, I like doing that when I do this style of art. It makes it clear what the piece if for, while still hiding the letters well enough that (normally) it takes some looking to find them.
