Description
Wanted to capture the relief when one's forgiven.It took me ages to finish this one! This painting was almost finished wayyy b4 my ahri painting, so it's considered older than it xd I'm not happy with it, but I was really bored of it and wanted to finish it as soon as possible. There are many mistakes, fixed some but I'm too lazy to fix everything, wanna start a new painting.
I started this painting about a month ago, so I didnt record the process however the original psd, high resolution and step by step will be available on Patreon!
Time: around 17 hours? I changed the face and her propotions sooo many times, was never happy with it...:/

This artwork is brilliant, however, there are a few things that stuck out to me.
First off, the face. It's great as you formed it, but if you lower the nose and mouth some, it will look much better - currently it seems too small. The face doesn't match the rest of the body for that sole reason - it looks scrunched in.
Second off, those flecks of gold along the arms, I can't tell whether that's maybe strands of hair or possibly golden blood, in which case that blood's color wouldn't match the blood from the cut on the cheek, and the blood dripping from the crown. Whatever it is, it is slightly visually distracting and draws the eye away from the rest of the picture.
Other than that, amazing artwork! This is my first critique, so I hope I didn't come off too negative.

It's great. Never mind the not fixing part. The texture of the wings is perfect - it gives the fluffy but still solid feeling. (and the colors remind me of the universe which fit to the profile of one being released/ transcended) Also I like the skin tone, very natural. And of course the light, where would we be without it.

it is a very good job but compared to your other works its not the best that you have done but still a good job.

Interesting piece, I get the feeling something terrible has happened to her. Something so awful that we would be shocked as human beings if we saw it. I further feel that the perpetrator was some one close some one she trusted. Hence the crying not only of pain and embarrassment but also of shame. The subject covers herself in that posture of "don't look at me" out of the remorse. A very moving piece I cannot help but feel sympathy with this subject in her misery. Yet still in this beaten and battered state, she still finds the courage and will to forgive them, whoever they maybe.

For me, this is just stunning. The work you did with light and the creation of "auras" around her is absolutely breath taking. The wings are delicate yet present - I like a solid looking wing rather than gossamar or "hints" of wings. She immediately says to me "I'm a Valkyrie here to avenge the innocent with love and light". I know that isn't exactly what you intended by your description, but in this case I think you were inspired and may love this piece more if you are willing to open up to new ideas of where she came from. Regardless, this is nothing to be anything less than proud of.
