It's good to see you've been keeping yourself busy over the last 3 days I was starting to get a little worried about you. This seems very in character with Starfire. Even if you discount the fact that her planet probably has far more dangerous animals than the ones on Earth (which might be part of the reason why Beast Boy only assumed their forms once) but she probably already has some experience with the behavior of a tiger due to Beast Boy shapeshifting into it. Besides they're probably kindred spirits in a way given her evolutionary history. I wasn't expecting the tiger's colors to be so muted but I suppose that makes sense when you're contrasting against Starfire's bright orange skin. Both Starfire and the tiger are well done. I like how Starfire's more cartoony look contrast with the relatively realistic tiger as a way of showing how childless and excited she is. The background is average but provides a nice contrast to theΒ central focus of the picture. Great work as usual!

You're not wrong. Star's people are descended from cats! And at one point in the New Teen Titans, the Brotherhood of Evil captured them and turned them into primates, and Star was a cat person!
Anyways, enough nerdery! This is a lovely, cute piece and I love it!

I think she was technically an orange tabby cat in that episode buuutΒ close enough

judging from her size, just how accurate the markings were and the fact that tigers are actually rather famous for magic shows (as are the other animals they got turned into) I always thought more of a very lithe/scrawny young tiger, but I guess either is possible since it's never really said which she is (and she did show a lot of tabby cat traits as well)
It kinda fits Star though that she'd be right in-between a ferocious tiger and a cute kitty
