Breed: Dalmatian/Schnauzer Mix

Appearance: Picture above. Spots are the identical for the main body for the other side of his body.

Personality: Sleet is a rascally and rowdy pup. He’s always excited for anything new and exciting to try. He jumps at a chance to lend a paw and gets excited over the smallest things. He loves to play with anyone that’s willing. Despite his energetic personality, he has anxiety and developed Haphephobia, the fear of being touched, because of his father’s abusiveness. He uses playing and energy as decoys around these problems. However, he gladly sits out on games like tag.

Backstroy: Sleet was born about two moons (months) after Pepper and Daire. He was named Sleet because of the white speckles that appeared in his coat. He never knew his older siblings. He didn’t know why Glain and Cailean kept them from him. Perhaps it was because they weren’t ready to show the first litter a younger sibling. Sleet didn’t know. After Glain’s death, Cailean became abusive. Sleet, not really knowing what else to do, took the abuse without much explanation as to why his father chose to act that way. Sleet didn't realize that he had developed Haphephobia until much later in life. Sleet was out and exploring on his own one day. The clouds were looming and dark in color. He stumbled upon a pup that looked similar to him in a way. He watched her for a while. Suddenly, a storm kicked in. The cool autumn air was cool enough to make the rain freeze into a slush, but not quite snow, ironically, it’s called sleet. Sleet watched the other pup struggle against the icy rain. The drops felt like pin needles striking down on him. Sleet pushed head-on into the wind towards the other pup. Once within earshot he called out to her, “We need to get shelter and fast!” He said. After being out in the wilderness for so long, weather conditions like this unique icy rain were easier for Sleet to handle than most other pups. The other pup told him about where she was staying and about the PAW Patrol. After helping the pup to the ginormous tower, the human boy offered Sleet to stay until the storm passed. During his visit, Sleet learned that the pup he had helped to the tower called the Lookout was named Pepper. Pepper had told the boy named Ryder about how Sleet helped to get her here. Ryder asked Sleet where he lived. He of course told the truth, with his father Cailean. Pepper recognized the name instantly and had told Sleet that Cailean was her father. It was then that Sleet learned that he had an older sibling. After a while, Ryder offered the job of being the Thunderstorm Safety and Control pup. Sleet ended up excepting and lives with the PAW Patrol ever sense. It wasn’t until after joining the PAW Patrol that Sleet realized that he had Haphephobia. When Ryder was putting Sleet’s color on, Sleet winced as if Ryder was going to hurt him like his father did. There were more occasions similar to that. Sleet enjoyed having Pepper there since she knew what their father was like. She gave him somebody to talk to. Despite having Haphephobia, Sleet still can touch somebody else, just not the other way around. The only exceptions to his Haphephobia are Pepper, if Sleet gives somebody and hug and they return it (not the other way around. Sleet has to initiate it.), possibly one other pup that Sleet tells of his abuse. (Possibly The other contestant winner’s pup is born with him if it makes sense instead of being born in the first litter. Maybe they fled to? Story is flexible to a third sibling either first litter or second. Doesn’t make sense to thrown in other sibling randomly into the same litter as Pepper without her mentioning them, so if that’s alright there’s a second litter. But then again, this means Sleet technically joined before Cailean, but eh... who’s counting?)

Job: Thunderstorm Safety and Control

Vehicle: A snow plow, but it’s a different model than Everest’s. I didn’t know what else to call it others than a snow plow. It has the thing on front for scraping ice and slush off the streets. It has deep tread tires for moving through icy slush.

Tools: A scrub brush for scraping ice off of glass. A shovel for digging in and around sleet if needed. A defroster for melting sleet. (Im in progress of coming up with more tools)
