Hey all, it's true! I'm not dead! I had this sketch I did a while ago- a long while ago- put a little love into and thought I'd post it here. Sorry to those waiting on when I'll be back in full swing. Life just does not really slow down lately so it's tough to give a definitive answer. Working day jobs trying to put food on the table as well as family life- you know how it is. So much of life is just about anything except art. Hang in there, everyone. It's almost a new year

Isn't it a great feeling when you find an old sketch and decide to finish it, only to have it turn out great? It's like finding forgotten treasure and cleaning it up for display. XD

I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t put too much thought into this one lol. I haven’t had a lot of time for art lately, but in the time I’ve had, my new goal is to put more fun and less stress into my work. Quit beating myself up , and just create more.
Don’t get me wrong I think it’s always good to try your best but I’ve always thought and even told people “ if the way you approach art keeps you from making it you’ve probably got a problem” lol and of course, I wasn’t taking my own advice! Well, like I say, more fun, and less stress in 2019.
As always, love the patreon stuff man, it’s always a gnarly day when that stuff shows up in my inbox!

I think that's a good mentality. Art should be fun, and yeah I agree, if you are getting hung up on your own process, you should re-calibrate a bit. Let it flow, but mostly, be ok with stumbling, now and then. That's when we learn.
