So anyway. . . yesterday I proposed to my girlfriend Cedonia (seh-done-ya) She said yes, and here's how that went down. . .

What your looking at here is a book I (mostly) drew and had printed to look somewhat like a real comic hoping to surprise her. Spoiler warning, it worked.

I asked her to go to chapters ( that's boarders in canada) there I had them play our song ( all this time by one republic) over the pa, and had a few copies of this book out in the comic section . If your asking whats the deal with pugs, she loves them. like, loves them, so I knew I just had to throw an image of a pug on the book and she'd pick it up- and that's exactly what happened. As soon as our song started playing she came and found me and goes " it's our song!" I was like " yeah. . . hey help me look for this book. . . " still keeping up the douchebag boyfriend ruse. She immediately found my book and started reading. By the time she got to the last page she was balling and even I was crying! haha I honestly don't remember the last time I cried but I did. I had the ring out waiting for her just pretty much exactly like the last picture- wore the same clothes , basically drew the comics section from memory so your pretty much looking at a cartoon version of what happened. She loved the ring and loved the book and said yes!

Yes. I might just be the most adorable thing on God's green earth.

Just wanted to post this because I'm pretty happy with the book and think it's one of the cooler things I've done. Some notes about the book: the friend of mine that I'm visiting in the book and then basically ditching is my pal Derrick, he's Cedonias cousin and introduced us. The dog popping out of her shirt and licking me is her toy poodle Cleo. Cleo basically gets between us constantly and would live in Cedonia's cleavage if she had a say in the matter. Also people who've seen the book say it's a scarily accurate cartoon version of both of us.
