I am a lucky bastard, during the same time I got to design the Batmobile for Arkham Asylum(game), I also got to do one for DC's MMO ....for Akrham Asylum I wanted to do more of a 'monster-drag-racer-gas-guzzling-beast ', but for this one I was more inspired by European racing cars, specially some old school Ferraris.Related content

I like this better than some of the others out there.It's up there with so original tv batmobile and the tumbler.It looks like something a real Batman,if there was one,might drive.No ridiculas oversized fins,scarboard designs like 1990's movies and some over done art versions.Just a race car,with bat designs.

I couldn't help but notice that your Batmobile design kinda resembles an updated version of the one in the "Arkham Asylum" game. Did you design that car,or is the resemblace coincendental?

the Arkham asylum HW car is awesome, I my need to take one apart to customize it like your art more red on it, Do u know if HW plans on making this version in 1:18 or 1:24 scale cause those would be over the top.

Appears to be a cross between various versions of the classic batmobile with the design from Chris Nolan's films. VERY nice!

I think Jim actually drew this in one of the issues of Batman (the one with Frank Miller)... the best part for me when doing these kindsa' designs is actually seeing the models done.... now if I could just convince someone at DC to let 'Hot toys' do some Arkham toys!

I didn't draw the little Batman on the side, that was actually done by Jim (Lee), I just put it there to show scale.
