I wanted to represent how we "use masks" in our lives, to the point we only see the masks and not the person behind them.What do I mean by masks? the way we behave in front of different people. It's like using different masks, we hide who we really are.
the reason why only the masks have a higher contrast is to reflect how we only see the mask, and the person has a less important role.
i could give a deep analysis on how the masks hide our emotions, feelings, personalities... how we use different types of masks, etc etc etc...
but I am a lazy person...

i understand the message in the picture. ''you don't have to smile always even if you feel an other emotion than happiness. you don't have to hide your real feelings, showing your feelings isn't a bad thing.
or it means ''you shouldn't just only look at how people look, but also look at the inside, what kind of person it is.
