The Polaroid’s line the floor
I've done it again
just thrown them all over the floor
I don't care anymore
I need the memories to come back
let them flood my mind
let them bring back the hurt
as well as the pleasures
of the past,
the future,
and the present
I still rip my way through them
throwing the ones I hate against the wall
throwing them like ninja stars
hoping that the corners will break
and they will bend
some I even force through the shredder
voiding them from my mind completely
Then I find them
the ones that I can’t find myself burning,
shredding,
or even looking at
most of them are just of you
some from Christmas
when you did your
“wrapping paper dance”
making sure I pulled off all the bows
all three of them
I couldn't help but get a smile from ear to ear that night
still one of my best Christmas’ to date
Those ones I just simply tossed back in the box
along with the Valentine’s Day
and St. Patrick’s Day as well

I still refuse to pick them up
I know I should
but today I think I’m just going to be lazy
just let the memories stay there
I don't think I can handle them anymore
so it’s been decided
I getting rid of them
all of them that you're in
I don't need the memories
I have the scares to keep those
So I'll burn them all
and the house with them
I light the match
and think to myself
maybe I should just clean the floor.

No problem sir. I figure its the least I can do. Your photography has helped honestly helped me out with beating writers block so many times. I felt like it was time to pay you back in the only way I can. I was really hoping that you'd fav it so thank you 1 million times over. Having someone like you (who I feel is brilliant in your medium) fav it makes the honor all mine. i just hope it doesn't dredge up any bad memories that was my only concern when I wrote it.

Nah, it's all good man. This crazy life has had it's fantastic moments and it's gut-wrenchingly awful moments but I think those help me appreciate the good ones even more. It is truly a life less ordinary. And it's an honor to know that my work actually influences others and inspires creativity. And not just in my own medium. I've always supported the idea of letting others use my work to create art of their own. I'm even OK with seeing it as meme's LOL
