Description
This is for my Diploma Project!Concept:
-The Interpretation of different wave motions, depending on wind speed.
-The sublime power + The fragility of the Ocean
Key Elements:
-Body Conscious Sihlouette
-Fluidity
-Feminine and Romantic
-Layerings using Pleats, Tucks and Flounces to represent the wave motions
-Embroidery of Gems and jewels to represent the wave foams
Look out for the order of the runway.. That's how my concept gets stronger..
1st look-
Wind type- Breeze
Wave behaviour is only slight ripples with no crests.
colour pallette: Black silk satin, china blue silk chiffon, sea blue chiffon.
my 1st garment is simple and clean cut. Suitable for daily wear as well. i chose black for the first few looks then going on to a lighter colour, because as the wind grew stronger,waves gets bigger and breaking waves form the white foams. you'll see a pattern forming up as the runway continues..
