I'm a big fan of good creatures, and this one is very good. I like how you didn't fall back on any Earthly body plan, and how you made it to exhibit both living and mechanical characteristics while avoiding cyborg clichΓ©s. This level of creativity is all too rare when it comes to creatures on Deviantart. However, I have to say the execution isn't 100% convincing. The shading looks great, but it conflicts with the direction the shadow's falling. I'm also not convinced those "legs" could all be touching the ground at the same plane, yet the shadow clearly shows it's on a flat surface.

Sexy design, I like the giger-esque theme, and the mandible work is especially appealling. You ought to ask a 3d modeller if they could create a 3d version of it, that would rock so damned hard

Well I definately didn't think of it as phallic, my approach to it's designs were just mechanic and also it's very small. Can't really tell here but it's a miniature-bot of sorts.
