Now, don't get the wrong idea about this picture. Latias and Latios are brother and sister. Latios is watching over Latias and her baby. I never watched the movie Pokemon Heroes but I learned from my friends that Latios dies in it. In this picture Latios is Latias' and her baby's Guardian angel. I came up with this idea and I just had to draw it! I think they are too cute! I hope you enjoy!Oh before I forget, do any of you know if there are more than one of each Legendary pokemon? I thought there was only one of each legendary pokemon, but I wasn't entirely sure. I did see an episode were Team Rocket caught a baby Lugia, so does that mean there is more than one Lugia? I mean that would be pretty weird if there was only one Lugia.

I agree with you about the more than one legendary being weird...when you see Pokemon Heroes there's a whole bunch of Latios's and Latias's like a group of them flying together
i havn't seen that Lugia episode yet (i wanna see it) but it's the only three legendaries i've seen more of....OH the new movie that just came out there's a whole bunch of Shamins in it so that makes four legendaries i've seen more of lol

Oh, and some legendary pokemons aren't the only one of their kind. But, here are the ones that i know that are the 'one and only': rayquaza, groudon, kyorge, raikou, entei, suicune, zapdos, articuno, moltres, mewtwo, celebi, and mew.

Maybe this is when Latios was young and the other Latis are his parents. And another reason why the Latias is big because that's going to be a Latias. Who knows anyway good pic.

This is such a sweet and marvellous picture...
Though the baby Latios already looks like an adult. I think you should have given him more baby-like proportions.
In the game, ALL legendary PokΓ©mon are one of a kind.
Though, in Colosseum, a Ho-oh appears and the people who see it say: "Look it's a Ho-oh!" and not "Look! it's Ho-oh!" This could mean there are more Ho-oh's than only the one we see there :/
In the anime we see more than one Lugia, a lot of Latias and Latios (though the two main ones are siblings, but there really are many of them, at least in the Japanese version...), and I think there used to be many Mews in the past, though probably the one the appears in the movie is the last one.
About other legendaries, I don't know...

Awww, cute! I never did see Pokemon Heroes, but this was a cool idea. ^_^ Lovely coloring and poses and such.
Well, the question about the number of legendary Pokemon really depends on if you want to go by the "game rules" or the "anime rules". By "game rules", there is only one of every legendary Pokemon, and they cannot reproduce. But by "anime rules", there are probably more than one of the legendary Pokemon b/c they can reproduce, as shown by the mother Lugia and her baby (I suppose it could be that the male Lugia from the 2nd movie that lives in the Orange Islands is the father and the mother and her baby from the show live in the Whirl Islands). Although Mewtwo is probably one-of-a-kind b/c he was cloned and no other of his species exists.

Almost all legendary pokemon are not one of a kind! The only ones I'm sure are one of a kind are: Mewtwo, suicune, entei and raikou!
