Description Preliminary character art for Aya Matsui as she would appear in something of an epilogue story (yeah I know I'm getting ahead of myslef considering the main story is still being worked out and drafted) The design is of an older slightly past her physical prime Aya who's returning to boxing after a brief sabbatical. As the pics title suggests she's abit older (early to mid 30's) and wiser as well as little heavier returning as a lightweight at 135 pounds as opposed to her prime weightclass the 122 pound superbantamweight/jr.featherweight division. The epilogue story is still vague but I have a general idea of where I want to go with it. I'll post more as I go about fleshing the idea out further.

It's nice show of age progression as far as change in the body is concerned, as it a little more soft and round compared to younger counterpart. However, I agree with Contro with the shoulders. One of them is sloping a bit more than the other even though both arms are relaxed.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad I was able to convey the slight changes in her physique, I tried to draw her a little softer/smoother aswell as a bit thicker in the upper arms and lower body. Thanks also for pointing out the shoulders I've uploaded a fixed version, but feel free to let me know if its still off.

Always good seeing you and your new works bro! No matter how long the hiatus. As for Aya, she looks like she's ready to go. I think the only thing I would check again is her shoulder length. Her left shoulder doesn't seem to match up with her right shoulder. Other than that, love the confidence in her eyes. It's very present.

And shoot, I wouldn't mind sparring her anyday. Wishful thinking.

Thanks for the compliments as always, and thanks for pointing out the shoulder issues, I've uploaded a fixed version but feel free to let me know if it still looks off. Ditto about sparring her one day...well as long as I'm allowed to wear kevlar body armor lol.

Thanks for the compliments as always, and thanks for pointing out the shoulder issues, I've uploaded a fixed version but feel free to let me know if it still looks off. Always a pleasure to comment your works bro, as well as communicate with you.

The shoulder looks better, the color block does lead the eyes to the outline were there's a break...and the applied line is there to help seal it better. So it's definitely better where it's positioned.

Ditto about sparring her one day...well as long as I'm allowed to wear kevlar body armor lol. Shoot, I just hope I get to keep my mouth functional. I'm sure someone would pay her to break my jaw....but then, seeing I know how to irritate females (it's a gift and my curse ), I don't think she would need that much motivation. I think she'll do it just for her own pleasure.

Have a great weekend bro, and hope the drafting process continues to go well for you!

Thanks for the comments as always and yes I <3 solids, I just love the strength they add to even the most simple of compositions just something unique to the cel-shade look.

Glad you like it and thanks for the feedback, I guess kinda wanted the legs to be a little more on the thick side but I hope I didn't over do it.
