I mentioned before, I won't be uploading covers to coincide with chapters. I usually work on the comic first and the cover if there's time and I have a decent idea for one. Which isn't always the case, sadly! That being said, this cover idea was submitted by Shinichi4869 ! He has been such an AMAZING supporter. I don't! Maybe I did when I started this. But I've learned a lot about her and I can't make myself hate her anymore. It's just that from a writers on my of view she adds nothing and exists to just to raise their kids. Caulifla, by comparison is more my type of woman. And a more interesting character. A female Goku who instead of being a hero, is public enemy #1? That's pretty cool to me. And I'm having a good time writing her! There's nothing wrong with chi chi persay. But, don't you think she deserves better too? All she wants is a dedicated father and husband and she doesn't get either from Goku. Not really, anyway. Not at all time. And that's a very reasonable thing for a wife to ask. It's just a mispairing in my honest opinion. I don't hate chi chi. I just want both her and goku to find happiness even if it's not within each other. It happens.

I have gone on record several times and said I would NEVER consider chi chi a bad mom. That was never my issue with her. She is indeed a faithful wife and mother! Irl I'd date her but she probably wouldn't like me ๐. And her tendency to throw tvs around would be a big red flag. Anyways, her simply being human sort of puts her in a box power wise. Had the series gone another direction with the human cast we probably wouldn't be having this conversation! They /all/ deserved more.

I think that "hate" isn't the word. He clearly has made stand out awesome women characters. He just doesn't do anything with them. Of toriyamas own admission. He says he's bad at writing women and that is clearly the case. Videl being the prime example. She was a badass before ever meeting Gohan. She was a superhero crime fighter. And she did it with no ki, no flying, no super speed, no bullshit. Just punches kicks and guts. Buu saga Videl was a bad ass. But as far as super is concerned all that's in the past. Lame!
As for chichi with Broly? I don't think trading one Saiyan for another will solve her problems, sadly. ๐
she needs a regular dude. Besides, Broly has Cheelai and that relationship seems to work for them! I think?
