Description
needs to be full viewed. HERE [link] is the finished product. This Tutorial was NOT done with a tablet, cause I know a lot of people dont have that privelege.
Feel free to ask any questions, I'd be happy to help with anything I neglected. I'm sure theres alot. I've never really thought about my process before.
I apologize in advance if any of this seems condecending but I didnt know what was too much or too little, so just sit tight through anything that you already do in your own work. Also I've never done a tutorial, nor used very many so I dont know If this is going to be helpful at all or not. Feel free to offer suggestions to improve on it, infact I urge you to.
Okay I think I figured out the sizing issues. But it'll be big, so i'll warn you now. Anyways, it was suggested to me that I should try my hand at a tutorial and I thought it sounded kinda fun so I did.

Thank you x 10
Do you have any specific parts of the body where you make the lines thicker? or do you just kinda guess?

mmm i usually tend to guess....generally its to emphasis something. Usually on curves I guess...or on muscle structure to emphasis where the body curves in and out. I hope that helps!

cool.
I think the only thing I would add to it to help people is tell more about what you actually clicked on, tools, etc. in Photoshop, cuz most people have a hard time w/ how to use Photoshop in diff ways.
Otherwise, pretty cool.

Yahoo! I love this tut, it's very helpful But do you then use smudge to blend the skin tones? Or something else?

I basically use smudge throughout the entire process, i just jump back and forth between paintbrush and smudge. I lay down color, smudge it so that its blended nicley with everything around it, and then I usually have to do it again with a darker color. Then i just keep doing that until It looks how I want it. So its a pretty repetative process...but it works for me. I really never use any of the other tools unless its lasso to move something, but that doesnt really count. I'v never used the blender tool....smudge=my best friend. I hope that helps...I'm long winded and not very good at explaining things, if I havnt made any sense feel free to ask me to reiterate or what not. hope this helps!!

Yes it does. It's just a different way of doing it, and we can see that in the results, it looks very different I never use smudge for anything! Either i play with opacity of brushes for blending, or i use a custom brush and use the tool that picks color a lot
I never thought about using smudge that way before. I wanna try it!!
Thanks a lot for taking time to do this tut ^^

hey, thats cool, i'd never even thought of your way before....interesting! lol. I forgot to mention that I usually have my smudge tool strength on 65 to 75 percent.
