The real title should be Francie since thats what I named her...but that sounds goofy. First things first, I used a visual. The magazine it came from (Saks Fifth...geez that stuff is off the wall expensive. But it has pretty pictures) is all ripped to peices so i have no idea who the photographer is, although I'll make a second attempt to find it in the wreckage. But yes this is a crop of one of the photo's from that magazine. The assignment was to do an up close crop of a photograph...from like...the begining of the year. Because my art teacher hordes artwork.That being said, I'm proud of Miss Francie. I dunno...not much to say.

Okay, I'm a terrible color pencil artist - which is why I do most of my work in black and white. How do you get such rich colors and get the darks so dark with colored pencils? Great work.

thank you! Well the blacks are more blue in real life because the camera didnt pick up on it. But I suggest using tuscan red and indigo blue instead of blacks, they're much richer. Blending the two gives close to black with a less flat quality. But you may already know that. But thank you, and good luck!
