Description
"Captain Andreason is the leader of a "Bug Hunter" squad, part of the military branch of the secret government anti-alien infiltration organization Majectic-12."Some intel indicates that a possible 'Xenormorph Incursion' has taken place in a small town in Texas, where some homeless have dissapeared near particular sewer grates.
"She and her squad have been sent to investigate, and, if necessary, 'sanction' all xenoforms found in the area".
Yeah, yeah, I know; in reality certain body parts would get in the way of aiming a weapon effectivly, but who cares?
See my blog for a 'naughty' series involving the Captain ^_^

Unbelievable! This is a great use of your talent!! You can practically smell the sewer. And the female forms are top notch! Thanks again for a great piece of art.

They sure have the guns for the job.
They look a little like the ghosts from Starcraft.

You know, I've never played that game, although I've heard about it for years (espically recently with Starcraft II being out).
I've always liked the idea of 'space marines' versus "Biological Weapons" ever since seeing "Aliens" way back when, so I may pick up that game as well (although I'll have to check and see if its exclusively a shooter like Halo, or has some RPG elements in it).
Oh, by the way: I haven't forgot that "Saren and Benezia" image I talked about, I just happen to have a short attention span (I blame 13 years on the Midnight Shift for that ).
I'll try to get back to it soon, and maybe even get back to that 'commission project' we discussed, before hopefully not too much longer.

It is a game strongly inspired by "Aliens", and in a good way too. Actualy it is a strategy game where you build fortified bases and armies. The first Starcraft is still worth playing and should be cheap enough if you want to give it a try. Im sure it would give you some interesting ideas.
Only if you like that concept and challenge my friend. But I think the admittedly hard to draw turians are rather cool and different when you do get it right.
No rush at all.

Strategy game, huh?
I think that "Mass Effect" (and before that, old Pencil-and-Paper "Dungeons and Dragons") has affected my tastes in all kinds of games now.
I don't really play games unless they have some kind of 'story' element in them; even "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" has a story to go behind all the hit-villain-until-he-falls-down action
If I can find it in the cheap bin I may give it a try, though (in fact, that's why I'm on a 'Star Trek' kick; I found Star Trek: Online in the cheap bin [quick turnaround for such a new game]).
I will eventually get back to Mass effect since I still have uncompleted ideas (my Fem Shep in her 'Renegade' face, Jacob teamed up with some female cast member, etc. ). I'll probably get back in the mood when I do my 3rd play through (this time with a Male Shep so I can bed Miranda [shallow, ain't I?
]).

Actualy the story is one of the best things about Starcraft.
The renegade face sounds like a interesting challenge. We are all shallow like that my friend.

I just saw this review of the game by one of my favorite online reviewers, Angry Joe: [link]
He makes it sound pretty interesting, but I just HATE Strategy games so much; I don't think I could get into it
By the way, "Fornax" is out now, so that's getting me back in the Mass Effect mood again ^_^: [link]

Fair enough.
It was just a matter of time someone did that I suppose. There are certanly material for Fornax here on DA. Wich you can partly blame us Garrus fangirls for.

Actually, Majestic-12 is part of 'real world' conspiracy theory involving UFOs.
I could drone on about it myself, but here is the wikipedia link on how it all started (and was eventually disproven): [link]
I picked up Destroy All Humans awhile back, but haven't played it yet (maybe I'll start this weekend).

weird, but nice real life reference.
So did get a idea of Majestic from the game as well?

I do know that Majectic appears in the game, but I haven't played it long enough to encounter the organization in it (less than an hour of play, actually).
The organization is popular enough that it has appeared in any number of "X-Files" type fiction, including a pencil-and-paper RPG called "Delta Green", which probably has the best representation of the organization that I have ever seen: [link]

Funny thing about the squadmate figure:
Its not really a seperate 'outfit' that you can put on the base female character, the whole thing is a seperate character in itself.
The base form is also not as curvy as my version, but one of the 'morph packs' I use allowed me to adjust the shape into this more sexy form.

Loved this sequence! Reminds me of Aliens and Dead Space XD
PS. The Captain shouldn't be rescued... in fact her squadmate should get TFed too

"Aliens" was definately an inspiration for the series (along with 'Silent Hill' and "Call of Cthulhu").
Haven't played "Dead Space" yet, but i did see the animated DVD of it. The most horriffic death scene in it wasn't caused by any of the 'zombies', though, but by an insane human who bisected his team mate with a laser chainsaw! 0_0

Ya, Deadspace is pretty gory and scarey in game O_o
And the reason this reminds me of Dead Space is because one of the death scenes actually has the monster rip your head off and use itself as a replacement, taking over your body.
