For the skin, I just went in the 'materials' folder and dialed the transparency to something I liked (and you're right about the skeleton).

Not completely pleased with how it came out, but maybe I'll try a third version later.

Hmm alright. I saw on your profile you use Poser. I use Daz myself, but then I think I would need to select the surfaces I want and change the transparency of them.
I too want to make Sil, or rather a Sil like character but I've got a lot left and other projects that need finishing first.
And I know what that's like, but it's all trial and error. Just keep at it until you're pleased pal.

I just recently started using Daz Studio myself, mainly to use the Mass Effect morphs that Dariofish made for use with Genesis (although most of my stuff will still be with poser, since I recently upgraded to Poser 9)

Ah yeah those are great But I've only had the chance to use his Asari morph so far, but they're all top notch.
Btw what is the crown you used here for Sil?
