Personally, I'm like Vegeta; I generally avoid going around in barefoot in public and do get a bit wary of things like the temperature from the person that sat on your chair before XD
I bet he feels very exposed if he has to go around in barefoot and without his gloves!

It's definitely understandable. It's so rare to see Vegeta without the boots and especially without the gloves. X3 Even as his outfit changes he always still has those.
