Description
New week, new assignment! ' u ' This week we had to animate a box opening and possibly closing if we wanted to make it a loop.We had about 2 and a half day to complete this and this animation ended up with 80 frames in total.

Wow. Looks like a great exercise.
And I know this is old and you're a much more experienced animator now, but well done. XD
I can imagine the dozens of ellipses you had to draw to get things to go in the right direction.

Wow, that's really creative. I've seen (and done) a lot of box animations, but never one where the box actually pushed itself. Great exercise in basic geometrics and weight.

Wow they sure make you work quick on these things, I guess my teacher was right when he said, if you give them 2 weeks to do it, they'll do it in 2 weeks xD

I love this simple animation where the box is assembled and disassembled indifinitely, then reassembling it turning around.Β Β
Me encanta esta animaciΓ³n sencilla donde la caja se arma y se desarma indefinidamente, luego la misma se vuelve a armar dΓ‘ndose vuelta.

really nice timing and the secondaries. tracking the dimensions must've been so tedious haha

Thank you~ I had a lot of trouble with the whole direction/perspective thing. I was overthinking it for a while but once I just let it go and stopped caring it turned out better. The last bounce-thing it does on the first unfolding stage was actually a accident. I accidentally switched two pages when I scanned it in our computer but I was happily surprised it made that extra bounce. It made it more realistic than I first intended.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense. My english is sometimes really bad. Hehe

I love thisβ¦. Is it sad I've spent like ten minutes just watching it play over and over? *watches again* nope.

That is some great dynamic and fluid like box movements. Impressive, keep up the good work.

Aaw.. At first I thought this assignment would be really boring since I really hate to draw straight lines etc. But I had fun with it and tried to make something different than just a box opening. ' u '

I just got REAL tired of it REALLY quickly. We only had a set time limit to do it in and I wasn't exactly feeling UP to the challenge. Plus I still have to use animation paper and I was getting pissed off with the amount of paper I was going through so I just tossed it in the recycle bin like RIGHT after he marked it

Aaaw well yeah it takes a bit to get used to sometimes. >: Especially if you don't really feel like doing the assignment.

Is it easier with a tablet (cause I swear if it isn't I don't know what I'll do)?

Somehow I think it's easier doing animations with a lighttable and papper. ' 3'

I'm studying at a small school majoring animation for 1 year right now. I don't really know that many good schools since we don't have any in Sweden. I am however hoping to get in the animation workshop in Denmark. They have both 2D and 3D animations and it seems like a really good school to me. ' u '

Despite it being an inanimate object and despite you animating it, you gave it some type of attitude in my opinion. It looks like it's restless. XD Nicely done!

Your posts make me wonder what the other students made... I can't imagine any of 'm being better.
I can, however, imagine the other students glaring at you when you present your work.
