Description
In the same way I started, I try to remain true to the light directions I chose, arranging carefully key light, fill light and rim light, balancing color temperatures (I cheated a little, pushing the cooler fill light on the front of the character to counter effect the overall warm tones, and to enhance her skin tones, the drapes and the veil.Related content

This is amazing! I love the lighting and the balance of warm and cool tones. Really well done! I'm always amazed at artists who can do these kinds of paintings traditionally. There's this certain charm to them. I absolutely love it!

There was a time when traditional painters were the norm, and digital was the anomaly, or let's say the odd wheel. That was when I was starting my professional career.
Within less than 20 years, things have reversed completely. Today, digital is the norm, traditional is the odd wheel.
History has pretty fascinating turns

Stared at the thumbnail for a minute thinking "... I know that painting..." pulled out Fantasy drawing Landscapes and cityscapes. Page 97. "I DO know that painting..."
I haven't read that book since I bought it a few years ago, so this is definately a memorable piece. I am proof.

You can really feel the atmosphere of the painting, and I love how you capture the flow of her clothing and the tones of the image. It really makes me feel like I'm floating with her, just looking at the image! Amazing artwork.
I love everything from the way you painted her hair to catch the light created in the image.. There's no doubt that you are very talented!
